How to force a sale

This article covers how to force a sale with a Poynt Smart Terminal.

Note: You must have processed an authorization before you can process a force sale. For more information, refer to How to process an authorization.

To force a sale, complete the following:

1. Tap Settlements App from the home screen.

2. Tap Transactions > Auth-Only.

3. Mark the transaction as Closed.
