How to void a transaction

This article applies to the Ingenico iCT 220, iCT 250, iWL 220, and iWL 250 terminals.

Note: For information on the difference between a void and a refund, refer to What is the difference between a void and a refund?. For information on refunding a transaction, refer to How to refund a transaction.

To void a transaction, complete the following:

1. Press the 3 key.

2. Select Reference #.

3. Enter the reference number from the receipt.

Note: A reference number will look like this: REF# 00000001.

4. Press Function key > 4 key.

5. Select YES.

The terminal will display an Approved message and a receipt will print once the void is complete.
