How to process an authorization with Verifone VX 820 and VX 680 terminals

This article covers how to process an authorization with Verifone terminals.

To process an authorization, complete the following:

1. Press the green key.

2. Select Pre-Auth > Pre-Auth.

3. Enter the amount to authorize.

4. Pass the terminal to the card holder for them to complete the transaction.
