How to manually accept payment for a transaction

This article covers how to manually accept payment for a transaction with a Poynt Smart Terminal.

To manually accept payment for a transaction, complete the following:

1. Process a transaction until you enter the amount and tap Charge.

2. Tap MANUAL ENTRY.

3. Enter the amount and card information.

4. Tap CHARGE.

5. Do one of the following:

• Tap ADD TIP, enter the amount, and tap ADD.
• Tap SKIP TIP.

6. Tap DONE.

7. Tap the HOME button to return to the homepage.
