How to Setup a Semi-integrated ICT250?

Semi-integration is a measure that ensures payment terminals are connected with retail point-of-sale software, while maintaining separation between payment information transmission and other systems.

Please note this article applies to terminals with Global Payments

  1. From the “Global Payments” Screen, Press the “#” Key
  2. Enter the admin name “1” , Press Enter
  3. Enter the Admin Password “Please Call Support if needed”, Press Enter
  4. Select the number 8 - Misc. Options
  5. Select 1 - Semi-integrated
  6. Select 1 - Enable Semi-integ
  7. Select ON, Press Enter
  8. Select 2 - Communication Type
  9. Chose Ethernet, Press Enter
  10. Enter Port # - (9995) Provided in Ticket, Press Enter
  11. Select 3 - Receipt Option
  12. Chose ECR, Press Enter
  13. Press the Red Cancel Button 2X - You should see ADMIN Menu
  14. Select 3 - Setup Menu
  15. Select 2 - Communications
  16. Select 3 - Ethernet
  17. Select 2 - Ethernet Setup
  18. Chose Static IP, Press Enter
  19. Terminal IP: 10.10.1.50 (varies for each merchant), Press Enter
  20. GatewayIP: 10.10.1.1 (varies for each merchant), Press Enter
  21. IPSubMask: 255.255.255.0 (varies for each merchant), Press Enter
  22. PriDNSIP: 10.10.1.1 (varies for each merchant), Press Enter
  23. SecDNSIP: 8.8.8.8 (varies for each merchant), Press Enter
  24. Press Cancel 2X, the Terminal will Reboot

Toggling between Semi-integration and Stand-alone Mode

Once semi integration has been enabled, there is an easy way to identify which mode the device is in, the screen will either display “Global Payments” for stand alone mode or “Welcome” for the semi integrated mode. Switching between modes is easy when needed.

To switch from Stand-alone Mode to Semi-integrated Mode 

  • From the “Global Payments” Screen, Press the “F1” key(Located directly under the screen of the terminal)
  • Terminal will display “Welcome” - Semi-integration mode has successfully been enabled

To switch from Semi-integrated Mode to Stand-alone Mode 

  • From the” Welcome” Screen, Press the “F1” key(Located directly under the screen of the terminal)
  • Terminal will display “Global Payments” - Stand-alone mode has successfully been enabled
