How to force a sale

This article applies to the Ingenico iCT 220, iCT 250, iWL 220, and iWL 250 terminals.

Note: You must have processed an authorization before you can process a force sale. For more information, refer to How to process an authorization.

To force a sale, complete the following:

1. Press the 4 key.

2. Enter the amount to force.

3. Enter the credit card number.

4. Enter the expiration date.

5. Enter the approval code.

The terminal will complete the transaction.

Note: You cannot force an amount greater than was authorized.
